(I am sooooo lost. Thought my character was at another end of the mall. Too bad there isn't a map that says 'You are here')

"Not doing to well." John answered. His whole body felt sore and he wasn't in a very good mood. For some reason he felt like they were being watched. Cigarette smoke still lingered in the air even though it was barely noticeable. Being a non-smoker and avoiding those who did made it easy for him to pick up the smell. "Mall might be clear of Romero freaks, but it isn't clear." he said. Very slowly he looked around and unsnapped the clasp on his holster. "We're not alone, and I don't think they're a nice person either."

Ash heard a shuffling and he flipped the safety off of his gun and he looked around. "So how long have you been on the force?" he asked as he looked around the room. The manikins(Sp?) showing dark shadows through the sky lights. A rack of shirts fell off somewhere in the store.

"I was looking for you guys it was awhile and i came upon a gun store and a survivor... He wife was bitten i shot her and so on and here i am now.." Jayne says as he shoulders his double barrel shotgun. "So how clear is the mall? From what i seen most of the stores are clear there was a lot of noise coming from a few toy stores i past.." He said as his ears started to ring he watched as he got double vision and he staggered and caught him self on the wall. He had lost a lot of blood from his arm.

Michelle shrugged slightly at the question on how safe the mall truly was. She knew of what he spoke of about the toy stores, she had heard the noises too, but she did not want to have to come in contact with any of those things, suddenly her train of thought was shut off when she saw, out of the corner of her eye, Jayne somewhat fall over against the wall. She quirked a brow towards him wondering if he was infected. Keeping her handgun tight in her hand she gave him a serious look.

"What's wrong?"

The question came out in short words as she stared over at him, not wanting to have to do anything. Michelle heard Julia cock her shotgun, and that's when she knew Julia was thinking the same thing that was in her mind. Julia stepped up beside her sister, both of her hands upon her shotgun, however it was still pointed down, with her gaze specifically on Jayne.

" I lost a lot of blood," He said as he stood up straight. "It was from when i bisted out the car window" He finished as he looked at both of them. He knew they wouldn't belive him they might think he had gotten bitten the truth was he didn't..

"Long enough." John answered. All he did was listen. He was pretty sure it had been cleared of zombies, but there was a chance there were other humans. In a time of emergency people would act crazy. Sometimes they did stupid things. "Guess we could check the next floor. We might not be alone." he explained.

((Oh man im kinda lost lol))

He could feel that they were being watched, just as if the mall itself had eyes. It made the hair on the back of his neck stand up, his skin shiver, his thoughts become more eratic... He couldn't help but stop in the middle of the mall and stare at the surroundings. Gabe watched as the two sisters entered the store and began too look around, wondering if they would noticed if he had wandered off. Sighing, he left the two women to their own devices, against his better judgment of course.

He began to scower the upper levels of the mall, keeping his eyes peeled for any of the undead, even any people that were alive and might want to kill him and the other survivors. Walking slowly, crouched and with his gun up, Gabe came to face the movie theater, remembering the good times he used to have with his friends before his initiation into the military.

Ash went to the door and he looked out both ways then he stepped out his gun in front of him. " OK lets see theres a lot of stores between us and the staircase unless you want to take the elevator?" Ash says as he makes his way to the next store and looks into it and see's nothing. "We need a fuse box... where would one be?" He asked him self as he looked around for a map.

(Hope you guys don't mind me joining in from here)

His eyes scoured the length of this section of the mall as he peaked his head round the corner of a pillar, his breathing steady and quite, not wanting to give his location away to any infected, he'd been told not to call them the undead since that was technically impossible. Jason and his smart arse comments, it made him wonder, could Jason still be alive? Give Jason a high enough vantage point and he'd beable to hit a cigarette butt from just over two mile away.... That's what Malace had been told.

Now was the time, he swung round the corner, his gun facing upwards as the coast was clear, along this section there wasn't very many places one of the infected could get to him from quickly, he'd have plenty of time to stop, aim and fire before it got close to him. His combat boots made a faint patter on the floor as he half jogged to the other end, as he reached the pillar on the otherside voice's became apparent, his back slammed against the pillar, but there wasn't a sound, the thin armored pack on his back which held all of the technology which worked his gear absorbed the shock and didn't give off a sound, he was thankful. His eyes shot up a floor or so as he tried to hone in on the voices.... They were definately alive, but were they friendly?
He pulled out a shard of glass, the edges having been smoothed down to stop him from cutting himself. He put it round the corner and used it to see without having to fully expose himself. All clear, he swung round the side of this pillar and made for the stairs, he was quick and quiet making pace at two or three steps at a time.

Reaching the top he pressed the butt of his M8 against his shoulder, brought the aim closer to his eye and all cleared it, moving out he headed to were the voices had been coming from, if these were survivors then perhaps he'd beable to help out amongst all of the chaos that had been going on lately. After all he'd been immersed in the 'infected' for three months on assignments, he knew them well enough to stay alive.

He felt his hair brushing the back of his neck and it began to irritate him as he jogged with his rifle raised, there wasn't really much he could do cause if he undid the pony tail his hair would become even more of a pain, the rest was tucked behind his ears though, his hair not actually being long enough to pull it all into a ponytail, atleast he had that bit o dignity left. He slowed as the voices got closer, sliding himself into a nearby store, he quickly and rather rushedly made it green (not literally) before sliding his back against the wall so he could listen in on the group, he knew he hadn't been seen and his breathing definately wasn't loud enough for anybody to beable to hear it, he slid down the wall into a crouch to make him a smaller target, the tiny blue screen which went over his left eye had begun to give information such as heart readings, heat signatures just basic medical stuff, the latest tech really was the latest tech and it was still top secret alot of the functions on it went above that it was said.

When Julia and Michelle both decided that they would agree with Jayne's condition for right now they eased up a bit and just turned away from him continuing to head down the mall's large pathway.

They peaked into every store, they were mainly dark and unlit due to the fact that they mall had not opened, but the pathway lights are set to turn on and off at certain times. They were basically staring into one of the stores until a loud banging sound rang out to their right.

Both Michelle and Julia snapped their heads towards where the sound came from to see one of the...things...beating on the glass door, but thank god it was reinforced and made strong enough to take such a beating. The creature appeared to be a young male, probably in his young teen years.

"We're going to have to remember to barricade all the doors later." Michelle shot a glance towards her sister, only receiving a nod as a response. The small group of three was beginning to approach the pillar where the unknown man was positioned, but his being there was unknown to them.

"Fuse box? How am I supposed to know? I'm a cop, not an electrician." he answered turning back to Jayne. He searched his mind for a possible answer to the question he had been asked. The mall was one place he had never spent a great deal of time in. Besides stores there were so many different rooms, hall ways, and maintenance passages specifically for employee usage. Easy for one to get lost unless they had worked here previously.

Finally an idea hit him. "Only two places I can think of. A basement or some kind of maintenance room. I have no idea as to where either are if they even exist." he stated. He knew a map would have been helpful. A real map. With all the rooms instead of one for customers that only had a listing for all the stores on it. "Any idea where the management office happens to be?" he asked.

Something kept nagging at the back of his mind. Telling him that someone else was in the mall besides himself and the other survivors. He wanted to shrug it off as it just being his imagination, but that feeling wasn't wrong before. It had happened twice when he actually had to search a house after getting a call about a burglary in progress. Maybe it was a "sixth sense" that had developed after being on the job for a while.

Jayne followed behind the two sister not really talking, he wasn't in the mood for talking considering where the hell they were and what could be around any corner. As they came closer to the corner he felt like something was wrong something was out of place... "Wait, something is in here other then us and those 'things'" Jayne said as he brought his double barrle shotgun to his shoulder.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ash thought for a moment and he nodded his head. "I know where the management office is i use to come here with my sister when we were younger. Its on the top floor on the right side there is a long ass hallway." he said as he started to head to the stair case and he started up halfway and stopped to wait for John.

Malace kept his back pressed against the pillar, he didn't even look around it, they were all too close and one of them would spot him, he'd stay hidden until he had the advantage and could find out whether or not they were friend or foe. His eyes focused as did his breathing. He became serious, his frame tensed, muscles tensing. He was going into a kind of battle state, his mind wasn't clouded when he was like this and he executed plans perfectly in this state.

His gun was raised, the scope pressed against his chest, if anything came round the corner he wouldn't have time to point his gun at it....probablies but if he held it any other way they'd beable to see it. He pulled out the shard of glass and poked it just round the corner, looking into it he watched them for a moment before pulling the piece back in and putting it back into his pocket, the hand returned to his weapon. He slid round to the next side of the pillar as they walked past, they seemed to have an objective, get the power back, good idea to him.

He slid round the next corner as they walked alittle further. Closing his eyes he took in a deep breath before throwing himself up from the pillar, he stood up so quick it was almost a blur. His gun pulled down from it's up position. The butt pulled against his shoulder, he tilted his head to the side so if need be he could look through the scope easily. " Friend or Foe....." His voice was neither harsh nor caring. It was a plain all out order. His foot shifted to give him better support. He switched from automatic to single shot mode. Accuracy, he didn't have ammo to waste. He could react, aim, pull the trigger move position, aim again and prepare to fire before any had managed to get within kill range for his armor which was roughly three metres if they were using cheap armor piercing bullets, if not it they'd have to press the gun against him for it to badly hurt anything and even then it most likely wouldn't pierce, this armor was made especially for the teams that had been sent in and with the modifications was now able to even resistant better shots from ranged weaponry. " I'll ask again..... Friend or Foe." He wasn't asking, he was ordering, again.
