"You'll be fine. I've seen people take worst spills than that and walk away. Might be good to keep weight off of that foot. Just for good measure." he explained. A little bit of a hyperbole on his part. Only personal experience told him people could go the extra mile with a little encouragement. "We're almost there. Just hang on to me." he said pulling Arian's arm around his neck so she could shift some of her weight onto his shoulders.
Hopefully nothing would force them to leave in a hurry. Once he dug up the other crate he had stashed he would be better equipped for a fight should one occur. There wasn't much there. Just an automatic pistol with several magazines. A welcome addition to the six shots he had with the shotgun. He pushed all those thoughts out of his mind. A warm meal is better than any conflict right now, he thought.

Going to disappear for a few more days. Have a few things to work on. Not to mention I must seek the help of the (shudders) "car people". Will return when that is taken care of for long over due posting.

Malace kept his back pressed against the pillar, he didn't even look around it, they were all too close and one of them would spot him, he'd stay hidden until he had the advantage and could find out whether or not they were friend or foe. His eyes focused as did his breathing. He became serious, his frame tensed, muscles tensing. He was going into a kind of battle state, his mind wasn't clouded when he was like this and he executed plans perfectly in this state.
His gun was raised, the scope pressed against his chest, if anything came round the corner he wouldn't have time to point his gun at it....probablies but if he held it any other way they'd beable to see it. He pulled out the shard of glass and poked it just round the corner, looking into it he watched them for a moment before pulling the piece back in and putting it back into his pocket, the hand returned to his weapon. He slid round to the next side of the pillar as they walked past, they seemed to have an objective, get the power back, good idea to him.
He slid round the next corner as they walked alittle further. Closing his eyes he took in a deep breath before throwing himself up from the pillar, he stood up so quick it was almost a blur. His gun pulled down from it's up position. The butt pulled against his shoulder, he tilted his head to the side so if need be he could look through the scope easily. " Friend or Foe....." His voice was neither harsh nor caring. It was a plain all out order. His foot shifted to give him better support. He switched from automatic to single shot mode. Accuracy, he didn't have ammo to waste. He could react, aim, pull the trigger move position, aim again and prepare to fire before any had managed to get within kill range for his armor which was roughly three metres if they were using cheap armor piercing bullets, if not it they'd have to press the gun against him for it to badly hurt anything and even then it most likely wouldn't pierce, this armor was made especially for the teams that had been sent in and with the modifications was now able to even resistant better shots from ranged weaponry. " I'll ask again..... Friend or Foe." He wasn't asking, he was ordering, again.

Jayne followed behind the two sister not really talking, he wasn't in the mood for talking considering where the hell they were and what could be around any corner. As they came closer to the corner he felt like something was wrong something was out of place... "Wait, something is in here other then us and those 'things'" Jayne said as he brought his double barrle shotgun to his shoulder.
Ash thought for a moment and he nodded his head. "I know where the management office is i use to come here with my sister when we were younger. Its on the top floor on the right side there is a long ass hallway." he said as he started to head to the stair case and he started up halfway and stopped to wait for John.

"Fuse box? How am I supposed to know? I'm a cop, not an electrician." he answered turning back to Jayne. He searched his mind for a possible answer to the question he had been asked. The mall was one place he had never spent a great deal of time in. Besides stores there were so many different rooms, hall ways, and maintenance passages specifically for employee usage. Easy for one to get lost unless they had worked here previously.
Finally an idea hit him. "Only two places I can think of. A basement or some kind of maintenance room. I have no idea as to where either are if they even exist." he stated. He knew a map would have been helpful. A real map. With all the rooms instead of one for customers that only had a listing for all the stores on it. "Any idea where the management office happens to be?" he asked.
Something kept nagging at the back of his mind. Telling him that someone else was in the mall besides himself and the other survivors. He wanted to shrug it off as it just being his imagination, but that feeling wasn't wrong before. It had happened twice when he actually had to search a house after getting a call about a burglary in progress. Maybe it was a "sixth sense" that had developed after being on the job for a while.
